The use of a “new” type of save called a Reflex save. Reflex saves are based off of a player’s M.E. + P.P. divided by 2. This score is then checked against the M.E. chart to see if there are any bonuses. Also use this bonus (if any) as a bonus to initiative. The use of M.E. represents the character’s concentration, focus, presence of mind, etc., while the P.P. attribute represents the character’s physical deftness and fluidity of body. Use this save for situations like traps the players may encounter, for certain spells, etc. Use the same difficulty rating as for Perception checks (GMs can increase or decrease at their discretion).
