Perception
Perception checks are decided with D20 (Easy: 4, Moderate: 8, Challenging: 14, Difficult: 17).
Systems: I.Q. + M.E. + M.A. + P.P. divided by 4. is the formula for determining Perception. This will give a number roughly equivalent to an Attribute. Take that number and check it against the M.E. chart to see if any bonuses are applicable. This is a conglomerate of a person’s senses.
Also, all characters get a +1 to perception at levels three, nine, and fifteen.

Attribute Boosting
At levels 4, 8 and 12 the player can add 1D4 to one of his attributes. GM has discretion on which attribute can be raised.
